Technical and Engineering Services
Provide all technical and engineering services, including economic feasibility studies, procurement of drilling equipment and tools for oil and gas wells, preparation of comprehensive field development plans for oil and gas fields, preparation and presentation of market outlooks for drilling technical services, introduction, procurement, and purchase of upstream technical technology, skilled workforce supply, and the provision of company diagnostic reports.
Integrated Drilling Operations Services for Oil and Gas Wells
Drilling activities for oil and gas wells, aimed at exploration, development, and production of oil and gas reserves, are continuously ongoing and are considered one of the most significant and costly activities in the oil industry.
Given that drilling projects are awarded to contractors under various contractual frameworks, the preparation of detailed service descriptions for each project is one of the most crucial factors in achieving project objectives and holds significant importance.
To create standard procedures and reduce disputes and claims between service providers and client companies, based on Article 5 of Clause A, Section 3 of the Ministry of Petroleum’s duties and powers, and to fulfill these provisions in the context of drilling activities related to exploration, development, and production, the Directorate of Technical and Executive Systems and Project Evaluation initiated the development of the “Integrated Drilling Operations Services for Oil and Gas Wells.” This initiative was conducted by studying the best practices in the oil industry and forming a specialized task force of experts and representatives from National Iranian Oil Company subsidiaries and private sector companies. After holding 18 meetings over 11 months, and upon the release of a trial version and gathering stakeholders’ feedback, the document for Integrated Drilling Operations Services for Oil and Gas Wells was finalized. This document includes four main sections:
